As part of the first Regional Meeting of Gremios por Chile held in Arica, Condensa was recognized for its contribution to economic and productive development from the regions. Organized by the CPC and its six national branches, the event brought together over 80 business associations and local entrepreneurs for a day of dialogue, collaboration, and forward-looking discussions focused on northern Chile.
Condensa was recognized for its more than 50-year track record driving the aluminum packaging industry from Arica to international markets—generating local employment, strengthening productive capabilities, and positioning the region as a competitive industrial hub.
Matías Levit, General Manager of Condensa, expressed his appreciation for the recognition, stating: “This initiative clearly shows that regions can lead major transformations when there is collaboration among trade associations, authorities, and committed companies. We are proud to represent Arica and to continue contributing to the country’s development from this territory.”
For Condensa, this recognition not only validates the work we’ve done but also affirms the type of company we’ve built in the north: one that embraces innovation, believes in regional talent, and aims to create long-term value. Our presence in Arica has become a consistent source of employment, local supplier engagement, and sustained contribution to the regional economy.
During the event, participants addressed key topics for the region’s growth, such as the construction of a desalination plant, modernization of the Port of Arica, development of the tourism sector, regional connectivity, public safety, and the urgent need to move forward with projects like the new regional hospital.
For Condensa, being part of this initiative is also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to a business model that combines productivity, innovation, and strong territorial roots. We thank the CPC, SOFOFA, and the organizing associations for highlighting regional companies that are committed to a decentralized, collaborative, and forward-looking model of development.
